Namsai, May 10:
A one-day free medical health check-up camp was successfully organized at the Superintendent of Police (SP) Office in Namsai on May 10, 2026. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with Aditya Diagnostics and Hospital with the aim of providing accessible healthcare services to retired police personnel, serving Police and CAPF personnel, along with their family members.
The camp witnessed active participation from specialist doctors across multiple departments, including Medicine, Physiotherapy, Orthopedics, Dental, and Eye Care. The Eye Department was led by experts from Aditya Eye Centre, including Dr. Simanta Konwar and Dr. Snigdha Mech.
During the camp, beneficiaries received medical consultations, health screenings, diagnostic guidance, and advice on preventive healthcare.
The initiative saw a strong response from the law enforcement community, with more than 150 patients, including personnel and their family members, registering and availing services throughout the morning session.
Speaking on the occasion, Sange Thinley stated that this was the first-ever medical health check-up camp organized specifically for police personnel and their families in the district.
He expressed hope that such welfare-oriented initiatives would continue in the future to ensure better healthcare support for the police community and retired personnel.
