East Kameng Police Conducts Special ILP Drive in Seppa

 


Seppa, May 12:

In a continued effort to maintain law and order and strengthen security measures across the district, East Kameng Police on Tuesday carried out a special Inner Line Permit (ILP) checking drive in Seppa.

During the operation, police personnel conducted thorough verification of individuals and checked valid ILP documents to ensure compliance with regulations governing entry into the state. 

The drive was aimed at preventing unauthorized entry, enhancing public safety, and promoting awareness about the importance of carrying valid ILP documents while visiting Arunachal Pradesh.

According to police officials, the checking drive was conducted peacefully and professionally, with active cooperation and support from members of the public. Authorities stated that such verification exercises are being carried out regularly as part of ongoing security initiatives in the district.

East Kameng Police further appealed to all citizens, visitors, and travelers to cooperate with the police administration by carrying proper identification documents along with valid ILPs at all times while traveling within the state.

The police emphasized that collective public cooperation is essential in ensuring a safer, more secure, and responsible society.
