The newly constructed boys’ hostel, Abhedananda Bhavan, was inaugurated on monday by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein at the Ramakrishna Mission School in Narottam Nagar, marking a significant step in strengthening residential facilities for students in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Ministers Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona and Shri Wangki Lowang, along with Borduria MLA Shri Wanglin Lowangdong and revered monks of the Mission. The event highlighted the institution’s longstanding contribution to education and social service in Arunachal Pradesh.
Established in 1972 with modest beginnings, the school has evolved into a prominent centre of learning known for instilling discipline, values, and academic excellence.
Over the years, it has produced numerous successful students who have excelled in competitive examinations such as NEET, JEE, and other national-level contests, reflecting the strength of its academic foundation.
Beyond education, the Ramakrishna Mission has played a crucial role in healthcare delivery and community service across the state, earning widespread respect for its selfless work.
Speaking on the occasion, DCM expressed appreciation for the Mission’s continued dedication to nation-building through education and service. They noted that the newly inaugurated hostel would enhance student accommodation and support a conducive learning environment for future generations.
The Government of Arunachal Pradesh reaffirmed its commitment to supporting institutions like the Ramakrishna Mission that contribute significantly to the development of youth and society.
