Pakke Kessang, April 11:
A Crime Review Meeting was conducted at the office of the Superintendent of Police in Pakke-Kessang district to assess law enforcement progress and address key challenges.
Swati Singh, Superintendent of Police, chaired the meeting and carried out a detailed review of all pending cases. She stressed the importance of timely investigation and speedy disposal in line with newly implemented criminal laws.
During the session, emphasis was placed on the effective use of digital platforms such as e-Sakshya, e-Summon, and the Cyber Police Portal to enhance efficiency and transparency in policing. Special attention was also given to the proper handling and disposal of cases registered under the NDPS Act.
To strengthen support systems for women, the SP directed the Officers-in-Charge of Lemmi and Seijosa Police Stations to establish dedicated Women Help Desks at their respective stations.
The meeting was attended by the DySP (HQ), Reserve Inspector, Officers-in-Charge of Lemmi and Seijosa Police Stations, along with all Investigating Officers of the district.
