Khonsa Battalion of the Assam Rifles carried out a civic outreach initiative on March 28, 2026, at Old Paniduria village in Tirap district, focusing on improving the quality of life in remote areas through sustainable solutions.
The programme, conducted under the Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme, involved the distribution of solar lights to local residents. The initiative is aimed at addressing the challenges of limited electricity access in the region by providing reliable and eco-friendly lighting.
