Cadets undertook a short trek to Phinjuli, enhancing their endurance and field navigation skills. They also visited the Tippi Orchid Research Centre, where they were introduced to the rich floral diversity of the region and sensitised to the importance of biodiversity conservation.
Brigadier Prashant Chauhan, Group Commander of NCC Group Headquarters, Tezpur, visited the training site during the course and reviewed the activities. Interacting with the cadets, he highlighted the role of adventure-based training in fostering discipline, confidence, leadership, and teamwork among youth.
The programme aimed not only to impart technical skills in adventure sports but also to promote environmental awareness, resilience, and a spirit of camaraderie among the cadets. The successful completion of the course marks another step in strengthening NCC’s focus on experiential learning and personality development through outdoor training initiatives.
