Pasighat, Jan 12: In a significant development in the Smart City Statue Vandalism case, Pasighat Police on Monday apprehended two juveniles in connection with the incident.
According to an official update, the case has been registered as Pasighat Police Station Case No. 03/2026 under Section 324(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), read with Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property (PDPP) Act. The two individuals apprehended have been identified as Children in Conflict with Law (CCLs).
Police officials stated that further investigation is underway and additional updates will be shared as the case progresses.
