Seppa Police Arrest 3, Seize 322g Cannabis

 

Seppa, April 1:

In a coordinated anti-narcotics operation, police in Seppa seized 322 grams of suspected cannabis and arrested three individuals during a search conducted in the New Seppa area on Wednesday afternoon.

The operation was led by the DySP (HQ), Seppa. The search and seizure were carried out in the presence of independent witnesses and an Executive Magistrate, ensuring adherence to legal procedures and transparency.

The individuals apprehended have been identified as:

Mama Natung (24), resident of Sede under Pijirang circle

Lulu Weshi (26), resident of Weshi Village under Pakoti circle

Durga Doka (25), resident of Type-III Colony under Seppa circle

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the NDPS Act, 1985. Police confirmed that all legal formalities were followed during the operation.

Further investigation is ongoing to uncover both forward and backward linkages in the suspected drug supply network.
