ITI Kanubari Inaugurated by Minister Gabriel D Wangsu

 


Kanubari, March 18, 2026:

Minister Gabriel D. Wangsu officially inaugurated the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Kanubari in Longding district on Wednesday, marking a significant step toward strengthening skill development infrastructure in the region.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Secretary and Director of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Bullo Mamu, Deputy Commissioner of Longding Kunal Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kanubari Yashwant Meena, along with departmental officials and local PRI members.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Wangsu described the institute as a vital platform to meet the growing aspirations of unemployed youth in the state. He emphasized that the ITI will play a key role in equipping young people with practical, industry-relevant skills, thereby enhancing their employability and opening up new livelihood opportunities.

He also encouraged the youth to actively enrol in the institute and make full use of the training facilities to achieve socio-economic advancement.

The establishment of the ITI at Kanubari is expected to significantly contribute to skill enhancement and workforce development in Longding district and surrounding areas.
