AAPSU Team Seeks FIR Over Alleged Defamatory Clips

Itanagar, March 25:

The AAPSU General Election 2026 election team has submitted a complaint at Itanagar Police Station seeking registration of an FIR against two individuals, Miss Khyoda Yallam and Shri Likha Maj, over the alleged creation and circulation of false and defamatory audio-video clips.

According to the complaint dated March 25, the individuals are accused of creating, circulating, and spreading audio-video clips with malicious intent against the election team to obtain undue advantage in the election process.

The complaint states that the clips are being widely circulated on social media platforms, including WhatsApp and Facebook, and allegedly refer to a “deal of five crore something,” falsely suggesting involvement of the election team. The team has denied any connection, stating that the contents are false, fabricated, misleading, and defamatory in nature.

It further states that the clips appear to have been circulated with malicious intent to damage reputation, create public confusion, and cause harm to the professional and personal standing of those involved.

The election team has requested authorities to register an FIR, conduct a thorough investigation to identify the origin, creators, and distributors of the clips, and take immediate steps to stop further circulation. The complaint also calls for strict legal action against all responsible persons under relevant provisions related to defamation, criminal conspiracy, and dissemination of false information through electronic means.

The team has stated that it is ready to cooperate with the investigation and provide any further information or evidence as required.
