India’s women’s futsal team etched their name in history by finishing runners-up at the SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship 2026, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from January 13 to 25, 2026.
The Futsal Tigresses delivered an impressive campaign in the inaugural edition of the tournament to secure the silver medal. Bangladesh emerged as champions, while Bhutan claimed third place.
