Chief Minister Pema Khandu addressed the 7th General Conference of the Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) at Pasighat, urging public servants to look beyond personal demands and focus on their duty towards effective public service delivery.
Emphasising the larger role of government employees, the Chief Minister said that such conferences should not be confined to discussions on demands and memorandums alone. Instead, he called upon members to utilise the platform meaningfully to collectively brainstorm innovative ideas, people-centric schemes, and actionable plans to improve governance and service delivery across the state.
“From demands to duty, from discussion to delivery that must be our shared commitment,” CM Khandu said, stressing that public service must ultimately translate into tangible benefits for the people.
The conference was also attended by PD Sona, Minister of Education, Rural Works, Parliamentary Affairs, Tourism, and Libraries, and Kaling Moyong, State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with senior officials and representatives of various service associations.
The leaders echoed the Chief Minister’s call for innovation, accountability, and commitment in strengthening public administration and delivering efficient, responsive governance to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
