Seijosa Police Leads Anti-Drugs Awareness Drive in Pakke Kessang

 


Seijosa, June 16:

Reaffirming its commitment to building a safer, healthier, and drug-free society, the Pakke Kessang District Police successfully organized an Anti-Drugs Awareness Campaign 2026 under the leadership of Seijosa Police.

The awareness drive was conducted in key public locations, including the bustling Seijosa Market and the Seijosa Police Checkgate, with the objective of directly engaging citizens and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The campaign witnessed the active participation of approximately 30 individuals, comprising local youth and community members who came forward to support the initiative.

During the program, police personnel highlighted the serious physical, mental, social, and legal consequences associated with substance abuse. Participants were encouraged to remain vigilant, make informed choices, and play an active role in preventing the spread of drug-related activities within their communities.

The campaign emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in safeguarding society, particularly the younger generation, from the growing threat of narcotics and substance abuse. Through awareness, community cooperation, and timely reporting of illegal activities, the police aim to strengthen efforts toward creating a drug-free environment across the district.

Speaking on the occasion, officials reiterated that public participation is essential in the fight against drugs and urged citizens to support law enforcement agencies by reporting any suspicious or illegal drug-related activities.
