Anini, April 6:
In a continued effort to support remote communities, the Dao Division under the Spear Corps of the Indian Army organized a medical camp at Anini in Dibang Valley district, extending essential healthcare services to the local population.
The camp witnessed active participation from residents of nearby villages, many of whom availed themselves of free medical consultations, basic diagnostic services, and distribution of medicines. A team of Army doctors and healthcare personnel attended to a wide range of health concerns, ensuring timely treatment and medical advice in an area where access to healthcare facilities remains limited.
Special emphasis was placed on general health check-ups, awareness on hygiene and preventive healthcare, as well as identifying cases requiring further medical attention. The initiative aimed not only to provide immediate relief but also to promote long-term health awareness among the local populace.
Such outreach programs by the Indian Army play a crucial role in bridging the healthcare gap in far-flung regions of Arunachal Pradesh. The locals expressed appreciation for the initiative, highlighting its significance in improving their overall well-being.
The Spear Corps has consistently undertaken similar humanitarian efforts under its civic action programs, reinforcing its commitment to the welfare and development of communities in the Northeast.
