ITBP Procures Local Produce at Koloriang Under Mission Arun Himveer

As part of Mission Arun Himveer, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) organized a procurement drive at Koloriang Camp in Kurung Kumey district, directly purchasing locally grown produce from Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

The initiative included the procurement of potatoes, oranges, pumpkins and ginger, providing farmers with assured markets and improved income while strengthening local livelihoods in the border district.

Mission Arun Himveer reflects the Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s commitment to inclusive development in remote border areas by integrating security efforts with livelihood support. Through direct procurement and community engagement, the initiative not only boosts farmer incomes but also strengthens trust and cooperation between local communities and security forces, contributing to sustainable development in Arunachal Pradesh’s frontier districts.
