Anini, February 19, 2026:
In a significant step towards improving educational facilities in remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh, the Dao Division and Spear Head Division of Spear Corps of the Indian Army have strengthened educational infrastructure in Dibang Valley district under Operation Sadbhavana.
As part of the initiative, Anini Secondary School was provided with computers along with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to enhance access to digital learning and ensure uninterrupted classroom activities despite power fluctuations. The support is expected to improve students' exposure to technology and facilitate a more effective learning environment.
In another major intervention, Government Residential School, Papikrung, received a collection of books and an interactive digital panel. The newly installed resources are aimed at promoting modern teaching methodologies, encouraging interactive classroom participation, and enriching the overall learning experience of students.
Officials stated that the initiative forms part of the Indian Army’s ongoing civic outreach efforts under Op Sadbhavana, which focuses on supporting education, fostering digital literacy, and creating better opportunities for students living in geographically isolated and underserved regions.
The Army reaffirmed its commitment to community development and nation-building by working closely with local institutions to bridge educational gaps and empower the younger generation through improved access to learning resources and technology.
