In a major boost to women-led economic empowerment, the Government on Friday sanctioned financial assistance worth ₹7.21 crore to two Women Producer Enterprises during the opening day of the third edition of Arunachal Saras 2026 at DK Convention Hall.

An amount of ₹3.57 crore was sanctioned to RETUSA Women Producer Enterprise, Namsai, while ₹3.64 crore was approved for KENNA Women Producer Enterprise, Pasighat. The sanction orders were formally handed over by the Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ojing Tasing.

The financial support is aimed at strengthening value-chain-based livelihoods, enabling women entrepreneurs to scale their enterprises, improve market access, enhance productivity, and create sustainable income opportunities at the grassroots level.

By investing in women-led Producer Enterprises, the State continues to reinforce inclusive growth, rural resilience, and community-led development, reaffirming its commitment to building an enabling ecosystem where women-led collectives can thrive and contribute significantly to the overall development of Arunachal Pradesh.
