Around 200 candidates were handed over appointment letters at the North East Frontier Headquarters of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) at Khating Hills in Itanagar as part of the 18th Rozgar Mela, a flagship employment initiative of the Central Government, on Friday.

The Rozgar Mela was held simultaneously at multiple locations across the country, highlighting the Centre’s coordinated nationwide drive to fast-track recruitment and generating large-scale employment opportunities for youth.

Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Gupta, Inspector General, ITBP, said that the number of candidates from Arunachal Pradesh receiving appointment letters has been increasing with every Rozgar Mela, reflecting the growing participation of youth from the state in central government services.
