An over speeding motorcycle crashed into the signboard of the Gauhati High Court Itanagar Permanent Bench in Naharlagun late last night, causing damage to the property.

The bike was carrying a male rider and a female passenger. The male rider sustained injuries and was taken for medical treatment, while the female escaped unhurt. Over speeding is suspected to be the cause of the accident.

An official statement is awaited.
